We partner with Niemco Fabricators to produce the carbon steel for our table and bench bases and chair backs. Niemco is based in our hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. The multi-step process is managed by skillful laser and machine operators. Check out our videos.
Niemco Fabricators
Niemco laser cuts our individual pieces from a large sheet of carbon steel in one of their two CNC Laser machines.
Laser Cutting Layout
The CNC Laser cuts one large piece of carbon steel into over 14 individual chair parts. The layout detail below shows the directional cuts the laser makes in order to achieve precision.
Flat Metal Pieces
Individual metal pieces are prepped for bending and shaping.
Metal Bending and Shaping
The last step is for the metal to be bent for our bench, table base and chair back shapes. Below are two steps for the shaping of the dining bench base.
